About Matthew
Matthew's classes are challenging and fun. There is a strong focus on correct alignment and form.
Variations for poses and sequences allow for all levels to find an appropriate balance of challenge and comfort. You will gain strength, improve balance and increase range of motion and flexibility.
Matthew's deep passion for Yoga is apparent in every class. His fascinating Yoga journey started as a teenager. He is excited to share his story and see others enjoy the many benefits of a regular Ashtanga Yoga practice.
Yoga Training:
1990-2010 - Attended Yoga classes on a regular basis in addition to a regular home practice.
2011-2012 - Dedicated training including attending numerous classes and workshops along with a more extensive personal practice which began in order to recover from a martial arts injury.
February - December 2013 - Completed 200 Hour RYT Program (Registered Yoga Teacher) at Frog Pond Yoga Centre in Princeton, Massachusetts.
2014 - Trained in Ashtanga Primary Series under Sarah-Grace Reynolds. (12 complete Primary Series classes)
October 3-5, 2014 - 3 Day Training in Ashtanga with Kino McGregor
June 12-14, 2015 - 3 Day Training in Ashtanga with David Robson
June 21, 2015 - 1 Day Ashtanga Teacher Training with Sarah Grace Reynolds.
May 2016: 6 Day Teacher Training with Manju Jois.
November 2016 - 2 Day Training with David Robson.
April 2017 Training in Boston with David Garrigues
June 2017 Graduated Frog Pond Yoga 500 RYT Program
October 2017 Training in Connecticut with Kino McGregor
